About the position:
We are looking for 1-2 MBA students who can help us to build the right strategy and to develop an impactful pitch for corporates in Spain with the objective to win their support. This support can be achieved by financial funding, volunteers or the participation in the annual Sierra Leone Marathon organized by Street Child.
About Street Child:
Street Child is a young and innovative multinational non-profit organization. Street Child España is one of the newest members in the Street Child federation that was established in 2008. The founder and the key volunteers have a strong business background and therefor we always seek for solutions that are self-sustainable and vital long-term.
Street Child’s principal focus is upon empowering some of the most vulnerable children by giving them the chance to go to school and giving their families the wherewithal to keep them there. We currently operate in two West African countries – Sierra Leone and Liberia – to help these countries towards meeting Millennium Development Goal #2 – Providing sustainable education to those who are most in need.
Annually, we’re able to help around 20,000 children to access quality education in around 140 schools we repaired or built. We’ve been able to reunite around 2,500 street children back with their families, and to help more than 4,400 families to build a sustainable family business in order to keep their children of the streets. Last but not least, over the last one and half year we’ve been able to support around 13,000 Ebola orphans who became the most vulnerable part of Western African population since the beginning of Ebola stroke.
